We represent employees involved in a wide variety different Employment Law disputes. This includes advising on Compromise Agreements.
As anyone knows who has either lost their job or faces the threat of losing their job, this can be devastating. Losing the security of a regular income can rapidly undermine self-confidence, damage family relations, and lead to the loss of your home.
Employment Tribunals can be brutal. You only have 3 months to start Tribunal Proceedings, and, contrary to myths propagated by the Tabloid Press, Tribunals are perfectly happy to dismiss weak cases, or award only nominal damages.
Employment Law is complex. It is also employee friendly.
The laws and regulations that protect employees are numerous. They have been enacted (however much Government tries to wriggle out of this truth) with the aim of making going to work more harmonious, and more accessible to people who come from all walks of life and with all rational opinions, beliefs and feelings about life.
