The Management Team

John Holtom is the managing partner of Legal Solutions Partnership.
John started as a trainee solicitor in 1986 having obtained a diploma in law
from what was then Central London Polytechnic (now  University of Westminster)
and before this obtained a joint honours degree in English Literature & Philosophy
from the University of Newcastle (at a time when Newcastle still looked much like
the city of Michael Caine’s Get Carter!).

As a solicitor John has extensive experience of all kinds of personal injury claims.
For a number of years until 2000 John was a member of the Law  Society Personal
Injury Panel which membership he had secured as a senior solicitor at Fennemores
who were a large solicitors firm handling work for, among others, the AA and Direct Line.

In 2000, John set up a claims management company, Claims. Net Ltd , intended to work in cooperation with Claimants and solicitors, and to fight against the avaricious ethos of some claims companies, whose sole interest was in finding a way to extract a large slice out of all aspects of the claim process to put into their back pocket.

John returned to private practice in 2004 when he joined Vincents Solicitors, as a consultant and then partner. He set up Legal Solutions Partnership in 2006 .

Catherine Hudson is a partner involved in strategic business issues, including business development and risk management.   Catherine has a blue chip CV having trained at Dawson & Co in  Lincoln’s Inn, and then worked in Berrymans (now Berrymans Lace Mawer), and Barlow Lyde and Gilbert as a specialist in professional negligence claims.  Catherine divides her time between Legal Solutions Partnership and a top 30 firm in the City of London where she is involved in risk management and professional support in their Dispute Resolution team.

Paul Haddon is the operations director of Legal Solutions Partnership.   Paul is an accredited Senior Litigator by APIL (The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).  Paul has many years of experience working in specialist personal injury firms (including Scott Rees and Fennemores).  As well as having conduct of claims of all kinds and values, he also has extensive experience of managing large personal injury departments.
